Salmon Claus is Coming to Town!

Salmon Claus is Coming to Town!

Salmon Claus and his helpers need your help to bring the holiday spirit to Tribal Nation Elders, adults, and children living along the Columbia River!

As we celebrate the holiday season this year, many things have changed. But one thing hasn’t: the spirit of giving. Salmon Claus 2020, helps bring the fun and joy of the season to those who can’t afford to give. The giving program is organized by Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, with the goal of bringing the holiday spirit to Tribal Nation Elders, adults, and children living along the Columbia River.

A message from CRITFC’s accompanying their Salmon Claus Amazon wishlist reads, “Each year, CRITFC staff and families donate gifts, toys, and warm clothes to Salmon Claus for the benefit of the tribal community at the In-Lieu and Treaty Fishing Access Sites. With COVID this year, we've had to get creative with how to continue this wonderful and valued tradition. Please join us in creating a wonderful Christmas for the families at the IL-TFAS.”

Collected donations will be distributed to families at the In-Lieu & Treat Fishing Access Sites by Salmon Claus and his helpers on Saturday, December 19th, so be sure to place your orders soon!
