Smoking hot TDHS squares off against Astoria at home tonight in softball quarterfinal

The Dalles High School Girl’s Softball, 23 wins and 3 loses, takes on Astoria, 19-6, tonight, May 26, in the playoff quarterfinal in the OSAA 4A bracket. They’ve got a home-field advantage at 16th Street Ballpark in The Dalles.

Coaches Jayme Scherrer, Lindy Macnab, Brooke Smith

The girls have not lost since March and burned Seaside earlier this week in a 16-0 route.

And they are pounding the ball like no other team.

On May 8th, the girls broke the single-season state homerun record. The count stood at 54 at that time.

The first pitch is at 6 p.m. - just a few hours away.

Boosters are screaming come one, come all and enjoy some concessions and support the team.
