Round and Round
Harvest is officially underway in Wasco County as combines got the reels spinning today. Below operators at the Kortge Wheat and Cattle Co. on property at the end of Lambert Lane just outside The Dalles cut a nice stand. Jeff and Jake Kortge are helming the headers this year. Will Ford and several other farmers east of The Dalles are also thrashing about. Sometimes you have to knock a few heads to see what shakes out.
