Starlight Parade, Tree Lighting, and Country Festival Will Kick Off Holiday Season in The Dalles
The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce (TDACC) will host the Starlight Parade with Community Tree Lighting on November 26th, 2021.
The Starlight Parade will start at 6:00 pm and the Community Tree Lighting will immediately follow the parade. Come by The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce for cocoa, cookies, coffee, and popcorn as we kick off the Christmas season with some holiday cheer.
Before the parade gets started head down to the Downtown Country Festival. New this year, the festival will take place in the parking lot behind Route 30 Bottles & Brews from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This family fun event will host pictures with Mrs. Claus, games, food, animals, vendors, crafts, and fun.
TDACC also said they wanted to remind the community that Shop Small Saturday will take place the day following the parade on November 27th. Be watching for local specials throughout The Dalles. This year TDACC wants to encourage locals to support our local businesses as they shop for friends and family.
“Shopping local is more than just supporting our businesses it is also a true connection to your community. Do you know the store owners who have invested in your community? Do you know the teams that work hard to serve you at our restaurants and pubs? It takes all of us to keep our community vibrant and healthy!” said Lisa Farquharson, CEO of The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce.
You can find a list of Shop Small deals at TheDallesChamber.com and on the TDACC’s Facebook page.
