Sunday morning and the livin' is easy
Camille Shepherd and Jon Snell of The Dalles find their little piece of heaven along the Columbia River this morning, July 16th, 2023.
The pair spotted the basalt bank near Klindt’s Cove several months ago and are now making it their recharging station about once a week. This morning, Camille was knitting a shawl and Jon was reading Franz Kafka’s Metamorphosis.
Forecasters are calling for another day in the high 90s. Might be a good day to find some shade, A/C, or an open-window car wash.
