Food Banks Need Feedback on Current Programs
Do you live in Hood River, Wasco, or Sherman, county and want to share thoughts on the local food system?
Employees from Columbia Gorge Food Bank, North Central Public Health District, Fish Food Bank, and OSU Cooperative Extension Wasco County are looking for your feedback. This fall, we are gathering information for the latest update of the Columbia Gorge Community Food Assessment.
We are looking for community members to participate in a 15-30 minute interview about their thoughts on gardening, farming, accessing food at the store, food bank, or farmers market, or working in grocery stores.
Last updated in 2011, the assessment aims to gather local input to create a snapshot of the food system in the Gorge, from production to distribution, consumption, and disposal. How do you imagine a post-pandemic food system?
Reach out to us at RAREAmeriCorps@oregonstate.edu to share your input and be part of the Columbia Gorge Food Assessment. The deadline is November 30th, 2020.
