The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission invite the public to Lampreypalooza for a day of science, storytelling, and up-close encounters with one of the Northwest’s most ancient and culturally significant native fish. Army Corps of Engineers says, let me introduce you to my little friend. The Corps will host Lampreypalooza at the Bonneville Dam acquaint people with these toothy ancient fish with an afternoon storytelling, and up-close encounters.

“This is a game changer. Superfund listing will kickstart a cleanup of this forgotten waste dump. We applaud the Biden administration and EPA for standing up for the people harmed by toxic waste,” said Lauren Goldberg, legal and program director with Columbia Riverkeeper.
