A 17-year-old horse that escaped from a trailer caused a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near Exit 97 near Celilo Park on Sunday evening, Jan. 5th, Oregon State Police reported.

Retired Veterinarian Wally Wolf of The Dalles said on Monday that the West Nile Virus was nothing to mess with when it comes to horses. Several cases have occurred in Oregon and horse owners can make sure their animals are protected.
