Two motorcyclists were injured Saturday morning in a crash involving a group ride on Interstate 84 near Rufus, according to the Oregon State Police.

A violent crash at Exit 87 left two Oregon State Police troopers seriously injured, shocking longtime colleagues and triggering a massive emergency response at one of The Dalles’ busiest intersections.

A local man was injured badly on Highway 35 when he collided with a truck on Saturday Afternoon on his way to his Mill job on Saturday, April 5 at 12:15 p.m. On April 5th, according to the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office.

“Our hopes and prayers go out to the guy,” Casey Pink said on Friday Morning. “He’s got a family. We’re just hoping he will be alright.”
