On Monday, April 1, 2024, the City of The Dalles Public Works will begin work on patching the area of Union St. affected by the replacement and upgrade of a water main in the alley between 2nd St. and 3rd St. as well as Union St. and Liberty St.

This spring, residents and visitors of The Dalles can anticipate a significant enhancement to the downtown landscape with the continuation of the City’s new Downtown Tree Project. The next steps of the project promise to bring a fresh wave of greenery and vitality to downtown streets.
