City organizes Manager’s Office with intent to max efficiency, creates new staff position

The Dalles City Council approved a new job description on Oct. 27 for an Analyst II position designed reduce the “risk gap” — a shortfall that leaves critical compliance, training, and documentation tasks vulnerable to error or neglect — while improving IT efficiency and cybersecurity across city operations.
