A 15-year-old Eugene girl was brought to safety Tuesday after an alleged custodial interference case sparked an I-84 pursuit ending with spike strips and an arrest near The Dalles.

A police pursuit that began early Monday in The Dalles ended with two arrests near Portland after authorities deployed spike strips to stop the fleeing vehicle.
