In a recent survey, we asked members of our community to share their whimsical choices if they could transform into an animal. The answers ranged from the playful to the imaginative, giving us a glimpse into the diverse dreams of our fellow residents.

Labor Day weekend if here and that means summer is drawing to a close. Although fall starts at the end of this month, the weather has made its drastic turn away from summer. But that doesn't mean our summer plans are over, there’s still plenty of adventure to be had.

I hit 183 pounds this winter, and I thought a fight with my stomach might help me out. Well, kinda. But I’m still 183 pounds. Oh, and 5’5. I lost a few inches over the years. It got me thinking. Not about the extra weight, but why?  I came up with this, Move. It’s my one-word anthem for the year - move. Question of the week: Ever had a nickname? From the Editor - They used to call me bentnose through no fault of my own. Quite simply, I was dropped as a child, and my nose either broke or bent. The upshot, my schnoz, got a bridge like San Francisco. Tragic, funny, unique, and bittersweet at times, nicknames run wild through our lives, and I did not meet a person on the street this week without one.
