A 35-year-old Carson man remains hospitalized after a stabbing in Cascade Locks, as police continue investigating and family members seek community support while his recovery and long-term medical needs remain uncertain.

A local man was injured badly on Highway 35 when he collided with a truck on Saturday Afternoon on his way to his Mill job on Saturday, April 5 at 12:15 p.m. On April 5th, according to the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office.

Megan, the daughter of Klickitat County Assistant Fire Chief Todd Kindler, was lifeflighted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Joe Burgess also suffered severe injuries and was taken to a separate hospital. They have undergone multiple surgeries and there are still more to come.
