This week’s question of the week is what does Hispanic Heritage month mean to you? We asked locals and ourselves, what it means to celebrate hispanic heritage and resiliency, while also grieving what’s been lost to assimilation and oppression.

Mid-Columbia Community Concert Association (MCCCA) is pleased to present Locarno, Tuesday, October 3rd at The Dalles Civic Auditorium. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the Civic’s Club 22 providing food and drinks for purchase. The show begins at 7:00 p.m.

A new fiesta, El Grito, will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month on the Washington side of the Gorge on Sunday, September 18, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Rhinegarten Park in White Salmon. Admission is free, and the event is open to all.
