Annual Plant Sale May 7th to benefit Master Gardeners and youth in NORCOR custody
Wasco County Master Gardeners will host their annual Plant Sale on May 7th, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Dalles City Park. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Master Gardners and NORCOR’s greenhouse program from incarcerated youth.

CGRC would lower incarceration rates of those with mental and behavioral health problems; improve local access to health services
LPSCC has submitted a $50,000 grant proposal to the Oregon Health Authority to pay planning costs of a Columbia Gorge Resolution Center. The Resolution Center would lower mental and behavioral health related incarcerations and improve access to mental and behavioral health services in the Wasco, Sherman, and Hood River Counties.
Sanctuary Promise Act Signed into Law, NORCOR ICE Lawsuit Declared Moot
The passage of The Sanctuary Promise Act (HB 3265) which prohibits public and private ICE detention contracts throughout the state has rendered the lawsuit against NORCOR moot.
