Seed to Supper Gardening Classes Begin Feb 22nd
The first class series in the Seed to Supper gardening classes begin this week on Feb. 22 in Sherman County! Seed to Supper is a free, comprehensive beginning vegetable gardening curriculum designed for adults gardening on a budget. The course highlights practical, low-cost techniques for building, planning, planting, maintaining and harvesting a successful vegetable garden.
The 2022 cherry harvest might be the latest running on record
Cherry Harvest has been a difficult thing to forecast this year due to cold and wet weather which resulted in later harvest dates. But according to Northwest Cherry Growers we are now one-third of the way through cherry harvest. And at the rate things are going this might be the latest running crop on record.

OSU Master Gardeners will resume their annual “Saturdays at The DIG” Summer Gardening Series with All About Cherries on Saturday, July 10th at 9 a.m. where attendees will learn about our local cherry industry and the numerous cherry varieties grown here—including some varieties still in trial.
