Fireworks regulations will also be a focal point of the meeting. In light of past concerns from veterans and residents about the adverse effects of fireworks, particularly on individuals with PTSD, the council will discuss potential changes to current policies. These discussions may include considerations for limiting fireworks usage during certain times of the year or implementing designated areas for displays to mitigate disturbances.thedallassignal.com
Additionally, the council will address overnight parking regulations. With increasing concerns about limited parking availability and the impact of overnight parking on residential neighborhoods, proposed amendments aim to balance the needs of residents, visitors, and local businesses. Potential measures include designated overnight parking zones and stricter enforcement of existing parking ordinances.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 313 Court St. Residents are encouraged to attend in person or participate via the city's online platform. The full agenda and supporting documents are available on the city's website.
