TDPD Achieves Full Accreditation, Setting New Standards in Law Enforcement Excellence

Great news for the City of The Dalles Oregon. Your Police Department has achieved a huge milestone in the history of our Department. We are now a fully accredited agency through the Northwest Accreditation Alliance. This affirms our commitment to best practices in Law Enforcement and the highest ideals in public safety.
The effort took hours and hours of effort and included revision of our policy manual, evidence handling manual, evidence procedures, and demonstrating proof of compliance to hundreds of standards. Our compliance was affirmed by outside law enforcement auditors who left no stone unturned. Our full report can be reviewed on the City Police website.
