The Dalles, Ore., Oct. 15, 2026 — Artists, craftspeople and makers from across the Mid-Columbia Gorge are being invited to submit their work for The Dalles Art Center’s annual Holiday Artisan Market, which will run from Nov. 27 through Dec. 24.
The seasonal market showcases locally created fine art and handcrafted goods, giving regional artists an opportunity to sell their work while offering holiday shoppers locally made gifts.
The Dalles Art Center is accepting work in a wide variety of mediums, including fine art and wall hangings, jewelry and wearable art, pottery, ceramics, glasswork, fiber arts, textiles, quilts, holiday décor, seasonal crafts, woodwork, sculpture and mixed media.
Artists and artisans may submit multiple pieces for consideration. The number of works ultimately displayed from each participant will depend on overall participation, and the art center will make final decisions on which pieces are accepted.
The submission deadline is Oct. 30.
Accepted artwork is scheduled to be dropped off Nov. 21-23 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., with times arranged with the art center’s deputy director.
The Holiday Artisan Market opens Nov. 27 and continues through Christmas Eve. An opening party is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Nov. 28.
After the market closes, artists may pick up their work Jan. 6-9 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., with pickup times arranged with the deputy director.
Artists interested in participating can contact Anastasia at gallery@thedallesartcenter.org for submission information.
