The Dalles, Ore., Nov. 7, 2025 — The season of giving begins with First Friday on November 7th in beautiful downtown The Dalles from 5-8 pm. We are celebrating those who serve with specials before Veterans Day including a number of activities and events throughout downtown including food and drink offerings, in store discounts and pre holiday sales.

This is a great time to start working on your holiday shopping lists as we get ready for other important Shop Local dates in November and December including Pink Friday on November 21st, Small Business Saturday on November 29th and the annual Sip & Shop December 13th! Don’t forget the annual Veterans Day Parade on Tuesday 11/11 sponsored by TD Area Chamber of Commerce and watch for some community food drive opportunities at various locations throughout The Dalles.

This month, Brick City Games is offering 20% off for all Veterans!

Down the block at Vibe Consignment Kaahreena is supporting One Community Health with 10% of sales donating back to them.

Skookum Outfitters has lots of new items for the holidays and crowd favorite Pizza the Gathering will be slinging the Za.

Next door at Lines of Designs they are showcasing fabrics and sewing notions along with some lovely holiday clothing and the Travelers Tea Nook will have Fall treats and tea. Across the street, The Coffee Shop is participating with The Wagon (from Mosier) doing a pop up with their sandwiches.

Down at Firefly it is First Dibs for First Fridays so all the new inventory will be ready for a sneak peek with 10% off!
