The Dalles, Ore., August 1, 2025 — Main Street First Friday is back for some Hot August Nights this Friday, August 1st, in beautiful downtown The Dalles. Join our businesses after hours as they stay open late and bring the heat with live music, food & drink deals, and business discounts starting at 5 pm.

The evening gets started at Wines on 2nd with a free tasting from Ram Cellars and live jazz piano by Darryl Frank.

Down at Vibe Consignment, Kahreena and her team are having a “No Where To Wear it To” party. Come dressed in your most fabulous outfits and enter to win a gift card, plus 10% off in the store.

Leslie at Brick City Games has all of her video games on special with buy one, get one FREE!

Urban Paper is celebrating their 15th Anniversary with a 15% discount throughout the store. Congratulations Jill!

Emma’s Bowtique is hosting drinks, snacks, and 10% off the entire purchase, and Skookum Outfitters will host Pizza the Gathering as they get ready for their end-of-the-month clearance sale.

Get your tickets now for the Main Street Uncorked Wine Walk Summer Sippin’ on Saturday, August 9th from 4-8 p.m. We have 16 local wineries joining us downtown with summer sips and tasty bites. Check-in starts at the Sunshine Mill Winery at 3:30 pm. You can purchase tickets online at https://www.eventbrite.com for $35 or at check-in for $45. August 8-10th is also Cruise the Gorge with the Cruise In downtown Friday night and lots of classic car shows around town all weekend long!

At the end of the month, downtown businesses will host the annual Sidewalk Sale August 29-30. Come out and find some great end-of-the-season deals and get ready for back-to-school.
