Whether you want to laugh along with a bestselling fantasy author, dive into hands-on crafts, or give kids a taste of kitchen creativity, there’s something to spark every imagination.

Labor Day Closure
Monday, Sept. 1, All Day
The library will be closed in observance of Labor Day.

On Writing Darkly Charming Villainous Love with Hannah Nicole Maehrer (Virtual)
Wednesday, Sept. 3, 4–5 p.m., Online
Join Assistant to the Villain author Hannah Nicole Maehrer for a lively virtual talk about romance, magic, and mischievous villains. Registration required.

Fun Fridays (School Age)
Friday, Sept. 5, 3–4:30 p.m., Children’s Wing
Each week offers a new activity for kids ages 5–10, from crafts to games. This week features coding fun with Code-a-pillars and Beebots.

Fun Fridays for Teens: Back to School Bash
Friday, Sept. 5, 3:15–4:30 p.m., Teen Room
Kick off the school year with teen-only activities, snacks, and a chance to reconnect with friends in the Teen Room.

Sushi Rolling for Kids
Saturday, Sept. 6, 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., Meeting Room
Ages 4–10 can learn to roll sushi alongside a professional chef in this family-friendly cooking class. All materials provided. Registration required and closes Sept. 4.
