Bargeway slammin with 7 shows in 5 days; Drake's the most epic entertainment guide.
Bargeway Pub & Catering’s Entertainment Weekly
By Jim Drake
The Bargeway Pub is celebrating the solstice with another knock-out week of shows that will fill the air with tunes as Sol reigns down his mighty beams keeping temps in the mid-80s.
Muscle shirt. Check.
And with all that sunshine comes a stack of entertainment including a Jessica Renee album release featuring Countryside Ride on Friday, June 23 and then Kevin Selfe & The Tornadoes whip it up on Saturday, June 24.
“Kevin Selfe has been electrifying audiences nationwide since breaking into the blues scene in 2006. His growing stature as a captivating storyteller and passionate performer are surpassed only by his deft mastery of blues guitar.”
It’s a one-two wicked sick punch that will knock the souls back onto your shoes.
Throw a Bacon Jam Burger on that solo and you got a countrified combo crush-a-can slam ram a lam ding dong dunk deluxe.
And that’s just the appetizer.

Thursday, June 22, Lost Ox and Jay Si Proof
"Jay Si Proof was created by trombonist and vocalist Jeff Chilton whose credits include performing with The Diamonds, The Platters, Broken Social Scene, and recording on over 20 albums by Portland-based ensembles. Described as "earth jazz alchemists" by Vortex Magazine, Jay Si Proof's original music plays between rhythmic grooves, personal lyrics, and jazzy harmonies, blending the finesse of a Steely Dan record with the aesthetic of old school funk like The Meters and new-school R&B like Erykah Badu."
"Genre-blending jammers Lost Ox are based out of Portland. The band, known for combining elements of funk, psychedelia, jazz, Americana, and progressive rock, was formed in 2017. Rooted both in the jam band resurgence of the 1990s and the original 1960s psychedelic folk rock revolution, their style encompasses many familiar jam tropes, all executed and reimagined with an inspired, dauntless precision.
