The Greenneck Daredevils brought their mix of Renegade Country and original songs to the Outdoor Pavilion at Indian Creek Golf Course in Hood River last Wednesday night. Promising a new album to be released soon, the band has had several formations over the last 10 years - the current lineup being Matt Farmer (mandolin), Billy Sheely (lead vocal), Doug Stephina (guitar), Ryan Kolberg (bass) and Joe Silliman (drums).

Quiet Riot Video Promo mentions ‘The Dalles,” Sort Of . . .
Quiet Riot’s Glam Metal guitarist Alex Grossi took time out of his touring schedule to give a Shout Out to “one of the most Unpronounceable Towns West of the Mississippi” in a 26 second promotional video for the band’s upcoming Oct. 16 concert. Grossi, like most newcomers to The Gorge, was tongue-tied trying to pronounce the name of the town originally named by French Fur Trappers. Luckily, the familiar “Beautiful Granada Theater” rolled off the tongue without a hitch, and We All Know Where That Is. Let’s hope their Tour Bus Driver knows the Difference between The Dalles, OR, Dallas, OR, and Dallas Tx.
