Some 25 Rowena Baptist church members gathered at the Post Office in The Dalles tonight at 5 p.m. to pray and push for their candidate the night before the general election.

Supporters in trucks and cars with American Flags also ran the gut on Second and Third Streets honking horns starting around 6 p.m. (Several vehicles participating in the Trump car and truck parade, are seen here, failing to stop at a stop sign on the intersection of 4th St and and 3rd Place in The Dalles.)

11,297 ballots have already been returned in Wasco County as of this morning, Monday, Nov. 2. That’s 62 percent.

Wasco County Clerk Lisa Gambee said turnout could be as high as 85 or 90 percent if trends follow past years where a third of votes come in on the last day of the election. Polls close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Follow CCC News for all your local election news.
