From North Central Public Health District:

Health Officials have upped the ante on vaccinations.

Any Wasco County resident who gets vaccinated at the mobile clinic in The Dalles will receive a $50 VISA card.

The mobile vaccine unit is open in The Dalles Monday through Saturday, from noon to 6 p.m. and will be here likely through mid-July, offering Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines on a walk-in basis.

It is currently stationed next to One Community Health in The Dalles at 1040 Webber St., and it will be there through Monday, June 7.

Starting June 9, it will be located at the St. Mary’s Academy parking lot, at 1112 W. 10th Street, at the corner of 10th and Cherry Heights Road.

Also, anyone who lives outside Oregon but has traveled to Wasco County to work, and their family members who have traveled with them, will get the $50 gift card if they get vaccinated at the mobile clinic.

It is a drive-through clinic at One Community Health and will be a walk-up clinic at St. Mary’s Academy. The clinic is a joint effort of the Oregon Health Authority, One Community Health, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and North Central Public Health District.

Residents will get one gift card per type of vaccine. They will not get a second card for the second dose of Pfizer. The Pfizer vaccine is authorized for those 12 and older, and the one-dose Johnson & Johnson is authorized for those 18 and older.
