Wasco County Special Election Update: Final Candidate List
The Wasco County Special Election candidacy filing date has passed and all but eight positions have at least one candidate running in the race.
So what happens to the unfilled positions?
“When no candidate files for a position, it will go on the ballot as "no candidate filed" with a write in option,” said Chrissy Zaug, Chief Deputy County Clerk.
Election Deadlines
April 3rd UOCAVA ballots are mailed
April 19th Out of State ballots are mailed
April 27th Last day to register to vote
April 28th Main ballot mailing
May 18th ELECTION DAY
