Cider Fest returns April 30

The Hood River Hard-Pressed Cider Fest is coming to the Hood River County Fairgrounds on April 30,  featuring 20 cideries, more than 40 different ciders, local music and kids activities. The Entertainment Lineup includes:

11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Quattlebaum (pictured) (Southern Gent Banjo Slinger)

1:15 – 2:15 p.m. Five Letter Word feat. Megan Alder (Female Folk Americana Trio)

3 – 4:30 p.m. Lost Ox (Jam Rock)

5 – 6:30 p.m. The Night Farmers (Country/Americana)

Gorge Artist Open Studio Tour coming 

The Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour returns April 22, 23, 24. The self-guided tour allows visitors access to more than 32 artists in their creative spaces. ‘Next One’ Art show at CG Interpretive Center

The Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum announces a new exhibit called “The Next One,” featuring Columbia River Gorge artists, including Stevenson’s own Marilyn Bolles. An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 8, from 6-8 p.m. Exhibit runs through May. Located at 990 SW Rock Creek Dr., Stevenson, Wash. Karaoke returns to The Dalles Eagles 

The Dalles Eagles will be adding Karaoke Thursdays with DJ Bill Hornibrook starting on Thursday, April 7, at 8 p.m.

Mazot Fest at Mt Hood Meadows

Mt. Hood Meadow’s favorite employees - The Meadows Avalanche Dogs - will be at the Mazot on Saturday, April 9, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., for a meet and greet fundraising party with music from DJ Tyto Alba (aka Austin Quattlebaum), a special slalom ski course, and prizes from Double Mountain Brewery and Mt. Hood Meadows. 

‘Mugs Mixers’ April 7

Funk River Social Club presents Weekly Jam

If Funk is Your Groove then head out to a Monthly Jam presented by members of the Gorge band Funkship at the River City Saloon in Hood River on the First Wednesday of the Month (April 6). The jams start at 7 p.m.

Mixed Media Lecture April 9

Blü Egyptian Band at River City

The Blü Egyptian Band is a Jam Band from Chico, CA, combining Rock and Roll with World music to “ create an unforgettable experience.” The band’s High 5 Tour brings them to the River City Saloon in Hood River on Friday, April 22. Music starts at 8 p.m. with a $10 cover charge. 21+ only.
