The Wetherbees were busy buzzing in for some fun in the sun

The Weatherbees worked their magic this morning, Jan. 31, as they brought in the most sunshine we have seen in days along the Columbia River in The Dalles.  Nancy Wetherbee and her daughter Jodi Wetherbee took a sunlit walk this morning on Riverfront Trail near the Bargeway Pub. The powdery topping on the nearby hills added a delicious twist to the view. Nancy said she gets out for walks most days of the week, and Jodi said she likes to come along when her son is in school in The Dalles.

You might want to break out the sunglasses as forecasters are calling for partly cloudy skies the rest of the week and highs staying, wait for it, in the 40s. Nutz. You can’t have it all, some days. But half the loaf, or sun in this case, is always good.
