July 13:

Concerns over the Hood River Bridge closer have prompted a public discussion slated for tonight, July 13 at 5:30 p.m.

The City of White Salmon is hosting Let's Talk White Salmon and the event is currently scheduled to be online via Zoom teleconference and Facebook Live.

“There was such an outpouring of responses about impacts of the bridge closure, as well as questions and feedback about the bridge project itself,” said White Salmon Mayor Marla Keethler on her Facebook page. “We're hoping to address some of those concerns and give you an idea of where things stand before myself and a few others head to Washington, DC to continue pushing this project forward. I hope you'll join us!”

There may be more than two council members present during the event which constitutes a special meeting of the city council.

Let's Talk White Salmon: The Bridge will be held via Zoom teleconference, Facebook, and in person. The in-person location is 119 NE Church, White Salmon WA.
