The Dalles, Ore.Feb. 25, 2025 – A woman was arrested Sunday afternoon in connection with a stabbing that occurred the previous night on 11th St. in The Dalles, according to police reports.
Emily Madelyn Donelle Lewis was taken into custody after officers tracked her location through a mobile app. She was found in a tent near I-84 exit 87, across the street from a Sinclair gas station and near The Dalles Bridge. Police approached on foot and arrested her without incident.
The stabbing was reported at 10:05 p.m. Saturday. According to dispatch logs, Lewis allegedly stabbed Albert Bice, 20, in the neck following an argument. Both individuals are believed to be houseless. The knife was removed before officers arrived, and Bice’s wound was taped shut. Despite the injury, he was reported to be standing and wanting to walk around.
Lewis fled the scene on foot before police arrived. Authorities confirmed she had two active felony warrants in Wasco County for failure to appear on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charges, with bail set at $20,000. Officers were warned to use caution due to her history of resisting arrest.
Shortly after the stabbing, police received a separate report from Bice’s relatives, Albert Bice’s father, stated that three firearms were stolen from his home in Goldendale, Washington. He suspected his son and Lewis were responsible for the theft. The firearms had not been entered into a police database because the serial numbers were unavailable.
Early Sunday morning, Jannie Bice, who reported the initial stabbing, told police she had tracked Lewis’ location through a Life360 app. Officers converged on her reported location and found her in a green and beige A-frame tent near Exit 87.
Lewis was arrested at 2:51 p.m. Sunday and booked into NORCOR jail on charges of second-degree assault and outstanding felony warrants.
Authorities have not yet confirmed whether Albert Bice will face charges related to the stolen firearms.
