On June 1st, 2022 Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and the Oregon Primary Care Association, One Community Health (OCH) opened two Test-to-Treat Centers at OCH clinics in Hood River and The Dalles. Wasco County Commissioners declared a local state of emergency due to drought and approved a fireworks and burn ban. The ban will being on June 15th at 12:01 a.m. The ban on burns and fireworks remains in effect until fire authorities deem it safe to lift the ban.

On November 22, 2021, Mr. Marsalis was found inside a house in Mosier belonging to Mr. Charles Keller. Marsalis had barricaded himself inside and ransacked the home. Later, Marsalis was found in possession of items from Mr. Keller’s home. Mr. Keller has been missing since November 11, 2021.
