Obituary: Aaron Richilano, 42, Hood River

Aaron Michael Richilano affectionately known as “Buzz” or “Snakes”. Aaron lived in Hood River most of his life and died at the age of 42 doing one of the things he was good at and loved, carpentry.

Aaron loved people and people loved him. When he showed up somewhere he came with life and passion. His infectious laugh echoed throughout the room putting smiles on people’s faces because they couldn’t help it. Even though he was big, loud, and strong, he was soft, compassionate, and full of love on the inside. He was very protective of the ones he loved, especially his daughter Olivia, nieces, and nephew, Ayanna, Aven, Loanie, and Lyla.

Aaron was very good at what he did, no matter if he was on the job site, snowboarding, wave boarding, mountain biking, skateboarding or any other sport that gave him an adrenaline rush. He always went hard and did the very best he could with everything.

Aaron was also very passionate about music. He loved all kinds of music but his favorite was hip hop. He supported music by playing it loud and proud, sometimes if you were lucky you could see him dance, he had some good moves. Other ways he supported music was by going to shows no matter how big or small the act was. He also invested his money in artists, spending time in the studio or helping make videos.

Aaron worked Hard, Played Hard, and Loved Hard.

Aaron is survived by his Daughter (Olivia), Mom (Joan), Dad (Mark), Nieces (Ayanna, Loanie, Lyla), Nephew (Aven), (Their Mom, Idennis), Brothers (Shamus and Colin (Indira)), Aunts (Pat, Mariann, Kathy, and Carol), Uncles (John, Bob, John, Jerry, and David), Cousins (Laura, Michelle, Meredith, Chris, Britt, Kristina, Jamie, Chris, Ellen, Jon and Nic), Mother of Olivia (Victoria), and Significant other (Jayme)

Aaron was also loved by Mommom and Poppop, Grandma and Bapu, Uncle Don, and Uncle Cal.

Thank You for Loving Aaron because he loved you.
