Vote Josiah Dean for Oregon House Dist. 57

Everyone in the Columbia Gorge and Eastern Oregon knows how much the wildfire season and rural roads shape our lives.

We need a representative focused on practical solutions for fire preparedness and safe roads, and Josiah Dean is that person. In the more than ten years I have known him, as my business coach, as owner of the Balch Hotel, and as a friend, he has always been someone who shows up when his community needs him.

Rep. Greg Smith has held this seat for decades. This summer he agreed to pay a $12,000 fine to the Oregon Government Ethics Commission and was removed as co-chair of a Ways and Means budget subcommittee. His integrity is questionable. District 57 deserves a representative whose standing in Salem is not in question.

It is time for a change. The people of Eastern Oregon deserve a leader with integrity, and I know from years of experience that Josiah Dean is that leader.
