As small business owners in downtown The Dalles, we are proudly supporting Marcus Swift for Port of The Dalles, Position 3, in this May 2021 election.
We invested our life savings to start a small business in The Dalles in 2019. Since then, Marcus Swift has supported and encouraged us as we grew and expanded our business. Eventually, we became so successful that we needed a larger space – so we moved into a beautiful location in downtown The Dalles. We know firsthand what it’s like to start, grow, and expand a small business in the area. That’s why we are supporting Marcus Swift.
Marcus is a fellow small business owner who cares deeply about our community. He works with local families, small businesses, and nonprofits to solve complex challenges. He also gives back to our community. In 2020 alone, Marcus provided over $25,000 in free or low-cost legal services to members of our community. He truly cares about our citizens and our future and, like us, he knows that there are bright days ahead for Wasco County.
