OnePeak Medical opens in The Dalles amid growing demand for local healthcare
The Dalles, Ore., May 19, 2026 — OnePeak Medical has opened its first Columbia River Gorge clinic in The Dalles, bringing expanded access to primary care and functional medicine services to Wasco County residents.
The Oregon-based healthcare provider officially opened its new clinic May 12 at 1935 E. 19th St. The location marks the company’s 21st clinic statewide and comes as many residents in the Gorge continue facing long waits and limited availability for primary care providers accepting new patients.
Company officials said the clinic is designed to help reduce the need for residents to travel to Hood River or farther for routine healthcare services while keeping more care local for patients in The Dalles, Dufur, Mosier, Dallesport and surrounding communities.

The clinic offers same-day and next-day appointments and provides 30-minute visits with healthcare providers. Services include preventative primary care, women’s and men’s health, hormone balancing, nutrition support, mental health services and weight management.
The clinic is led by Jessica Gamroth, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner whose background includes operating room care before transitioning into preventative and functional medicine.
“By the time someone ends up in an OR, you’re often dealing with the result of years of small things adding up,” Gamroth said. “I wanted to get further upstream, to sit with people, listen, and help them sort out what’s actually going on before it becomes a bigger problem.”
Gamroth said the clinic’s functional medicine approach focuses on identifying underlying causes of chronic health concerns rather than only treating symptoms.
“People in The Dalles deserve a real answer about why they don’t feel right,” she said. “Sometimes that’s a thyroid issue or blood sugar. Sometimes it’s twenty years of working outside in the wind. Our job is to find it and help them fix it.”
According to OnePeak Medical, the clinic’s services include annual wellness exams, thyroid support, stress management, nutrient IVs and injections, and virtual follow-up visits for routine concerns.
The clinic is open Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is accepting new patients. OnePeak Medical said it accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare, the Oregon Health Plan, Aetna, Moda and UnitedHealthcare, with Cigna and Regence expected to be added soon.
