Public Hearing Notice: Ordinance to Prohibit Large Scale Solar Projects in Klickitat County Aug 1st
This is a public notice of a Klickitat County public hearing that has been rescheduled to August 1, 2023.
In accordance with RCW 36.70.795, the Board of County Commissioners of Klickitat County, Washington, will conduct public hearings on Ordinance O061323. This ordinance pertains to the implementation of an interim official control that prohibits large scale solar projects over one acre in size within the following Townships-Ranges: 3-14, 3-15 (Centerville), 3-16, 4-14 (Wahkiacus), 4-15, 4-16 (Goldendale), 4-17, 5-15, 5-16, and 5-17 in Klickitat County.

The public hearings have been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 1, 2023. There will be two sessions for the hearings, one at 1:30 p.m. and the other at 6:00 p.m. The venue for both sessions is the Klickitat County Services Building, located at 115 West Court Street, Room 200, Goldendale, Washington.
All interested parties are welcome to attend the hearings and provide their testimony on the matter. There are two ways to participate:
