One of the fundraisers was created by Yolanda Gonzalez for her parents, who lost their home of 40 years, along with vehicles and animals. “We are all devastated by the loss of our family’s home,” Gonzalez wrote. “We know many others are in similar circumstances and are praying for everyone impacted.”

Andy

Another fundraiser is helping Andy, a longtime resident who lost his home and provided housing for three other families on his property. “It’s not just one home lost — it’s four families displaced,” wrote Danica Ann and Ariana Bloodgood, who co-organized the campaign. Andy, a master gardener, had transformed his property into a peaceful haven filled with fruit trees and flowers.

Chelsie and Austin’s home was destroyed.

Chelsea and Austin also lost everything in the fire, except their dog Howie, who was rescued by Austin despite evacuation roadblocks. According to family members, the couple had limited renter’s insurance and are now working to replace daily essentials.

Becca and Josh’s home was destroyed.

A fourth fundraiser supports Becca and Josh, who lived in their home with their two young children for just six months before it was destroyed. “They have lost everything,” wrote Amber Hahn, who started the campaign. “Becca and Josh are active members in our community.”

Shane WhiteHorse

The final campaign was created for Shane WhiteHorse, who lost his home while away. His friend, Maclane Parson, said Shane’s only concern was for his two cats, one of which he had for 14 years. “Nothing was able to be saved,” Parson wrote.

Family of MaryAnn Chambliss

My mother and brother just lost their home to the fire blazing in Rowena, Oregon, this morning. They lost everything and don't know what they are going to do. They have a temporary place to stay but nothing permanent and only have the clothes on their back. They are in need of anything that could help.

The Rowena fire devastated this local family—a veteran, his spouse, and their young child with autism. Their home was completely destroyed, and they escaped with only a few belongings.

Starting over from nothing is overwhelming. Their child needs stability, structure, and support more than ever—and right now, they have none of that.

We’re raising funds to help them rebuild—covering emergency housing, essentials, and a fresh start.

Every donation helps, and every share makes a difference.

Let’s show them they’re not alone.

It’s a devastating how much Rowena fire has caused us. Something that we never imagined! We lost 4 houses and a couple shops. It is hard to take in emotionally and financially. Any little amount could help us rebuild what we can. I really appreciate to those who already reached out and offered their love and support which make us feel better.

My name is Brandi. I live in Rowena near The Dalles Oregon. I just lost my home and everything I own in the Rowena Wildfire that started midday on 6/11. Thank God, we are safe but as you can imagine this has been devastating and my heart is broken. I am often resistant to asking for help but today I find that I am in great need of any assistance. All donations of any size will be very much appreciated and will go directly to paying for long term housing and immediate needs that haven't been donated or obtained otherwise. Thank you for your time and God Bless you.

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I share some heartbreaking news. The Rowena Fire in Oregon has completely destroyed my sister’s home. In the fire, she lost everything—including her beloved animals: goats, chickens, and their cherished dog, Tito.

Her husband, who suffers from kidney failure and depends on dialysis multiple times a week, also lost all of his medical equipment. Around 2 PM, they received an evacuation notice while both were at work. By the time they tried to return home, they were stopped by the sheriff’s department and not allowed in. They were unable to save anything—no medical supplies, no important documents, no clothing.

They have a young son who will be turning three in September—a sweet, caring boy who loved nothing more than helping take care of the chickens every day. In the midst of the chaos, his only concern was whether his chickens and Tito were safe. It’s truly heartbreaking.

Because of the remote area they live in, shipping physical supplies is incredibly difficult. If you find it in your heart to help, monetary donations would mean the world and would allow them to begin replacing critical items like clothing, medical necessities, and basic living essentials.

If you’re unable to donate, please keep their small family in your prayers. Your support, in any form, is deeply appreciated during this incredibly difficult time.

With love and gratitude,

Our Famliy

Izzy Duarte is a bright and vivacious young lady— she’s been dating my son, Aiden, for many years and they graduated together just last week. Yesterday she came to our house with her (3 legged ) cat and nothing but the clothes on her back, assuming the fires wouldn’t spread to her home, which has always been safe. Her extended family also got out safe but we assumed, still, the structures would be okay.

We woke up today to the worst news; not only her home is gone, with everything in it, but her grandmother’s nearby. If you could please honor her family with any assistance while they wait for insurance to sort things out, I know it would help so much.
