43rd Northwest Cherry Festival Comes to The Dalles from April 19th Through 21st
Following an intense contest and review by our committee, Ahyoung Kim, a sophomore at TDHS, was chosen as our 2024 artist with her impressive design that embodies the spirit of the theme, "Cherries on Broadway."

The Dalles, Ore. March 12, 2023 – The Dalles Area Chamber is excited to announce the 43rd Northwest Cherry Festival “Cherries on Broadway” on April 19th through the 21st! The Northwest Cherry Festival is one of the largest events in The Dalles and a long-time community favorite. Join us for a weekend of family fun throughout The Dalles. Enjoy a carnival by Rainier Amusements, the Columbia River Gorge’s LARGEST parade, the Teddy Bear Run, the ABATE Poker Run, the Pie Eating Contest, free live entertainment, an open-air market, and much more.
This year, students from The Dalles High School were challenged with the opportunity to create poster artwork and design as a component of the school's Advanced Graphics program.

A new sponsorship opportunity was created this year by Tonkin Subaru of the Gorge, who will be our title sponsor for the 2024 Cherry Festival.
This event brings in 20,000+ people into our downtown over the 3 days, and as a business, you simply can’t afford to miss out! The Northwest Cherry Festival is a huge event, and we need your help. If you know a group that would like to volunteer their time, we have opportunities available throughout April.
