Ian Joe Bailey is a musical group based out of Portland, OR that leans towards a folky acoustic sound overall, but still explores and experiments with many different genres. With a very enjoyable laid back style, the group is influenced by a mix of Blues, Jazz, Folk era twang and busking street rock. The music radiates the sweet colorful wisp of the saxophone, trumpet, piano, or lead accompanied by a remedying rhythm guitar and drums. The impassioned vocals lead the listener through the song from start to finish, a written story in a tune.

New West Coast country rocking gem
Thursday, Sept. 3, $15 Advance // $18 Day Of Show, 6 p.m. Doors / 7 p.m. Show, All Ages
Wanderlodge hails from Portland and Joshua Tree but has spent most of its time on the road. The duo formed in 2016 with Matt Cadenelli and Kris Stuart combining their love of classic rock and country with their own tunes, those of other favorite local songwriters, and a taste for the sunny, country rock sounds of LA and it’s surrounding canyons. The result is a new west coast, country rocking gem.
Oregon Music Hall of Fame member Lewi Longmire has built a reputation as Portland’s multi-instrumentalist “go to guy.” In the decades since relocating to Portland from Albuquerque, New Mexico, he’s been included on shows and recordings by many of the Northwest’s finest bands and songwriters. He’s regularly played with national acts Michael Hurley, John Craigie, TK & the Holy Know Nothings, Alela Diane, Victoria Williams, Dolorean, the Minus 5, as well as local luminaries Casey Neill, the Freak Mountain Ramblers, and was an anchor member of Portland’s all-star tribute to the Allman Brothers, Brothers and Sister.
Families in the Park is back this summer! A fun community tradition coming up in August. Each Thursday evening in August at Jackson Park in Hood River at 7 p.m. This event is brought to you by Hood River Lions Club & Gorge Community Foundation. Food will be available to purchase on site.
