Ballot returns in Hood River County lagging behind 2020
Hood River County, Ore., Oct. 24, 2024 — It appears the passion for this year’s general election is nowhere near that of four years ago as both Hood River and Wasco counties are receiving a trickle of returns as local and national candidates vying for seats.

As of Wednesday, Hood River County returns were down 47 percent compared to the same time in 2020 and Wasco County returns were down 50 percent.
