Best Dressed: The Dalles Celebrates Halloween 2022

Best Dressed: The Dalles Celebrates Halloween 2022

Halloween is fun for all ages!

By Cole Goodwin

The Dalles Trick-or-Treaters were out in force this Halloween! Many braved the cool fall weather and light rain showers for some treats, snacks, and fun.

Business owners and shop dogs alike had fun passing out candy to the community!

These two dinosaurs on 4th street won Halloween by handing out FULL SIZE CANDY BARS!

Many commented that they were excited that this year’s downtown trick-or-treat was held on the actual Halloween holiday!

Waiting in line to get in!

Lines began forming outside of The Dalles City Park not long after 4:30 p.m. as people waited for the Monsters in the Park event to begin! Event highlights included a pumpkin bouncy house, Parks and Recreation booths with snacks and drinks, A Tonkin Suburu spin-the-wheel booth, A Kidz Dental Zone booth that included games to win a free doughnut, a small haunted house, Halloween music, a fortune-telling booth, and hanging out with friends and family.

The fortune telling booth allowed you to pick a treat or…draw a tarot card to find out your future! Jill Barham, (right) astrologer, and tarot reader than interpreted the card for you on the spot!

Cole Goodwin of CCCNews drew The Empress card!

What a fun night of festivities!

And now, without further ado, here are some of the Best Dressed (or best decorated) for Halloween that CCCNews saw on the street this evening. :)
