The Dalles Wasco County Library has a schedule packed with fun seasonal activities this October, including a Samhain lore from Master Storyteller William Hornyak, a humans vs zombies nerf war for ages 13-18, virtual author talks, a drawing workshop with renowned cartoonist Rick Stromoski, a tattoo inking tutorial from local award winning tattoo artist Jacob Hanks, sugar skull take and make kits for Day of the Dead, pizza and legos night and much much more!
White Salmon community members were out and about the town last night enjoying the free Downtown Trick or Treat hosted by local businesses and the Festival of Light hosted by local churches and ministries including Grace Baptist Church.

The Howards Haven Animal Sanctuary will host its 4th annual Pumpkin Patch event on October 23rd and 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 37 Monogan Howard Rd in Lyle. The event is free to attend although donations to the animal sanctuary are encouraged.
The Dalles Main Street announced that they were bringing back their popular Downtown Trick or Treat event this year on October 29th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
