Dodge pickup and motorized bike collide in TD traffic hub

Police and fire were called to the scene of collision between a bicycle and a Dodge pickup on Wednesday afternoon.

Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue responded to a bicyclist hit by a Ram 3500 pickup near the 76 gas station at Lincoln and W. Third streets at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13.

The pickup was visibly dented on the passenger fender and the headlight was falling out after the wreck.

According to The Dalles Police log the Dodge pickup struck a motorized bike. “Rider of the bike was fine and refused medical treatment, minor damage done to the Dodge. No report taken,” it stated.
