The fire appears to be under control and fire crews are mopping up the scene.

There is a grass fire burning in Dallesport along Tidyman road and Highway 197.
Local fire agencies are on scene.
The fire appears to have reached 10 acres in size.
Traffic is currently moving unimpeded along 197.
The approximate location of the fire.
It is currently 90F outside with 32% humidity, and winds of 6 miles per hour.

11:49 a.m. Brush trucks and tenders requested; requesting units for Hwy 197 and the RV park
11:48 a.m. Fire reported on Tidyman Road. Jumped to field - more resources are being paged. Fire is about 3+ acres in size, traveling east towards tribal cemetery - flames are 200 feet from the west side of Hwy 197.
