Fire Burning in The Dalles Aug 31st
Updated August 31st 4:30 p.m.
A brush fire was been reported near McDonald Way above Murray’s addition in The Dalles, OR at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday August 31st.
A level 3 GO NOW evacuation is in effect for Chenoweth Rim Apartments and everyone south of 13th st between Irvine and Verdant St.
A level 1 GET READY evacuation is in effect for north end of Sandlin Road.

Fire bosses are in the air and are currently working to put out the blaze. Hood River County will assist Wasco with the Wildland fire response. Winds are gusting at 30 mph and 41 on the peaks.
Citizens have been asked to assist fire fighters by avoiding the area unless they are helping to evacuate.
