Dawkins brothers taking the hill on East 16th

Tucker and Dillon Dawkins, ages 11 and 13, were bagging some big ones this morning, June 30, as they worked on removing weeds from a hill for a family member at 1000, E. 16th St., The Dalles.

The sun was already cranking at around 11 a.m. pushing 80 degrees. Forecasters are calling for temperatures to be in the 90s for the next few days and then drop into the high 70s on Sunday and Monday.
