Deceased male dressed in black found near I-84; Sheriff needs information

The Dalles, Ore., June 24, 2024 — The Wasco County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a deceased male found near Interstate 84 in the vicinity of the Deschutes River on Saturday, June 22.
“The deceased has not been identified and at this time the cause of death is not known,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. “Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen someone walking along the interstate dressed in all black clothing over the last couple of weeks to please call the Sheriff’s Office at 541-506-2580.
