Local Drug Take-Back Event This Saturday in Hood River

The Dalles, Ore., April 22, 2026 — What: MED-Project is offering residents a safe, free, and convenient way to dispose of unwanted or expired household medications at a local take-back event hosted by the Hood River Police Department.

When: Saturday, April 25, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Hood River Police Department, 207 2nd Street, Hood River, OR 97031

Who: Open to all Oregon residents.

Accepted: Medications in any dosage form, except for those identified as Not Accepted below, in their original container or sealed bag.

Not Accepted: Herbal remedies, vitamins, supplements, cosmetics, other personal care products, empty medical devices, batteries, mercury-containing thermometers, sharps, illicit drugs, pet pesticide products, animal medicines, and biologics.
